The students of 5th course of Castejón de Sos in the English class prepared a Guide of the Pyrenees: the animals, plants, sports,... The students of 6th course wrote the food.

TYPICAL FOOD OF THE PYRENEES

In Aragon there is a great variety of food, made with typical products of the Pyrenees.

For starter we recommend you “recao”. It’s cooked with “caldo”, potatoes and beans. “Suquet” made with vegetables and fish. Aragonese salad with lettuce, black and green olives, carrots, boiled eggs, tomatoes, sweet corn ...

Main course

For main course we recommend you lamb with potatoes. It’s cooked with lamb and fried potaoes of vegetables garden. Spanish omelette, it is cooked with potatoes and eggs.










Mushrooms, specially “robellón”, “sep”, “trompetillas”, “babosas”, “pata de rata” and “champiñones”.
Chiretas, it is cooked with rice and peel of pig...."
